Plant-based mucins have many advantages. In Korean skincare, snail mucin is one of the best-tried ingredients, which has a healing effect and at the same time envelops the skin with a protective layer thanks to its sticky, slimy texture and which allows moisture to be trapped in the skin.

Rootree packs these properties with the following plant-based alternatives:

Yam root mucin- thanks to naturally contained allantoin, it improves the texture of the skin, increases its elasticity and prevents moisture loss
Okra mucus – is rich in beta-carotene, protein, vitamins A C and E, which provides the skin with antioxidants, reduces free radicals, which slows down the aging of the skin and brings back vitality
Lotus root mucin – full of pectin, vitamins B12 and C, purifies dull skin, brightens the complexion, shrinks pores and improves the overall texture of the skin

HOW TO USE

After cleansing in the morning and/or in the evening, apply the toner to the face, neck and décolleté with a cotton pad or your hands and work in by gently tapping. We then recommend completing the routine with a cream (also with sunscreen in the morning).
